USA TEAM BARBARO and WISCONSIN VOLUNTEERS WELCOME our talented Melissa Harden who is from Columbus, Georgia. As one of our Georgia Ambassadors for Barbaro, Melissa has contributed her Computer and Video expertise along with her background in the Better Business Bureau. She webmasters her latest creation, FOR THE LOVE OF BARBARO, which contains a living anthology of the poetry and videos from Fans Of Barbaro as well her own creations. Recently, she has upgraded and expanded her webpages to include special campaign update with news on the media outreach regarding critical horse issues. These include health, welfare, and horse anti-slaughter updates which tie into direct communcation with Bill and Carole Shaw's attached blog to www.campaigningforbarbaro.com under News/Views/Successes and Alex Brown's Discussion Forum "Organizing The States For This Mission" in www.timwoolleyracing.com.

She credits her ingenious website is because of Alex's appreciation for artistic creativity. But horses are not all she loves as "Southmaniac." Her six family fans include: Her mother and "MAX", a very big Great Dane, AKA "Mother's Boss." And, her closest three "lick your face" fans are: her Yellow Lab "SANDY" AKA "Baby Girl"; Newfoundland/Flat-coated Retriever mix "JAVE" AKA "Sweetboy"; and Black Lab/Basset Hound mix "ELLY," who when good is "Cutie Pie" and when bad is "Elly Mess." Wait a minute! Who is the sixth Fan Member?

It it none other than her very talented sister in her own right -- Cindy Harden (Bussolini) of Harden-Van Aman in New York. She is a prominent architect and very active in politics. She just received a Community Service Award from the Democratic Party in Brooklyn, New York. Here is the North and South Connection of the United States in one amazing family. And it does not end here!

Melissa continues to keep our spirits going when the going gets tough! Most memorable are her exceptional video tributes of Barbaro, Steve Irwin (Australia's Ambassador of Ambassadors) (September 7, 2006), and special birthday tribute to Mike Rea from his special buddies and horses (September 12, 2006). She reminds us when we need to continue prayers for Lost In The Fog and did a beautiful tribute to him after his passing September 17, 2006. We pray with her as Barbaro and Mike Rea both recover from their serious injuries. As you recall, Mike's was a serious brain injury resulting from a spooked horse accident during one of his normal training jaunts at Fair Hill Training Center in Maryland.

If one of us needs a break, Melissa steps in to willingly boost our morales and lets us know when we become "too serious." She introduced us all to "SMILEY CENTRAL" which helps relieve the stress as We All Campaign For Barbaro And His Horse Friends Until We Make A Difference!

WE WELCOME MELISSA and HER WATCHDOG CREW! EXPECT AMAZING THINGS!
GOD BLESS and MAY THE HORSES BE WITH YOU and US ALL!!!

UPS NOW BELIEVES Barbaro is here at our place since we seem to be gettin special packages for him...Will Miracles never cease. Hope you like your new look and complete bio redo. We saw your AWESOME BLOG on Senator Engsign and will be spending more time tonight looking through all your newest additions. Many thanks for always checking to make sure Carole was OKAY (says Barbaro, Jims, Gabs, and THOR, since she handles alot when US MILITARY hubby (think he sleeps in his hat and uniform) is TDY in various field assigments where we never know he is from time to time! But he daily checks in on the homefront via phone. Thanks for your patience as we were terribly inundated (total understatement of the year) with emails. SHAWS in NH Horse Country.

PS: Will be visiting THOR hopefully this weekend, Saturday -- awaiting confirmation back from the Director of E.P.O.N.A. (Equine Protection of North America in Epping, NH) www.eponarescue.org! Hope Sandy, Jave, and Elly are being very good!
