USA TEAM BARBARO and WISCONSIN VOLUNTEERS WELCOME our talented Melissa Harden who is from Columbus, Georgia. As one of our Georgia Ambassadors for Barbaro, Melissa has contributed her Computer and Video expertise along with her background in the Better Business Bureau. She webmasters her latest creation, FOR THE LOVE OF BARBARO, which contains a living anthology of the poetry and videos from Fans Of Barbaro as well her own creations. Recently, she has upgraded and expanded her webpages to include special campaign update with news on the media outreach regarding critical horse issues. These include health, welfare, and horse anti-slaughter updates which tie into direct communcation with Bill and Carole Shaw's attached blog to www.campaigningforbarbaro.com under News/Views/Successes and Alex Brown's Discussion Forum "Organizing The States For This Mission" in www.timwoolleyracing.com.

She credits her ingenious website is because of Alex's appreciation for artistic creativity. But horses are not all she loves as "Southmaniac." Her six family fans include: Her mother and "MAX", a very big Great Dane, AKA "Mother's Boss." And, her closest three "lick your face" fans are: her Yellow Lab "SANDY" AKA "Baby Girl"; Newfoundland/Flat-coated Retriever mix "JAVE" AKA "Sweetboy"; and Black Lab/Basset Hound mix "ELLY," who when good is "Cutie Pie" and when bad is "Elly Mess." Wait a minute! Who is the sixth Fan Member?

It it none other than her very talented sister in her own right -- Cindy Harden (Bussolini) of Harden-Van Aman in New York. She is a prominent architect and very active in politics. She just received a Community Service Award from the Democratic Party in Brooklyn, New York. Here is the North and South Connection of the United States in one amazing family. And it does not end here!

Melissa continues to keep our spirits going when the going gets tough! Most memorable are her exceptional video tributes of Barbaro, Steve Irwin (Australia's Ambassador of Ambassadors) (September 7, 2006), and special birthday tribute to Mike Rea from his special buddies and horses (September 12, 2006). She reminds us when we need to continue prayers for Lost In The Fog and did a beautiful tribute to him after his passing September 17, 2006. We pray with her as Barbaro and Mike Rea both recover from their serious injuries. As you recall, Mike's was a serious brain injury resulting from a spooked horse accident during one of his normal training jaunts at Fair Hill Training Center in Maryland.

If one of us needs a break, Melissa steps in to willingly boost our morales and lets us know when we become "too serious." She introduced us all to "SMILEY CENTRAL" which helps relieve the stress as We All Campaign For Barbaro And His Horse Friends Until We Make A Difference!

WE WELCOME MELISSA and HER WATCHDOG CREW! EXPECT AMAZING THINGS!
GOD BLESS and MAY THE HORSES BE WITH YOU and US ALL!!!

His Legacy Continues...

NEW HAMPSHIRE BECOMES OUR FIRST HONOREE AMBASSADORS FOR USA TEAM BARBARO

Welcome to our second newest addition to Wisconsin Barbaro Ambassadors/Volunteers campaigning for Barbaro...until we make a difference as his voice. Wm & CL Shaw and extended family members from New Hampshire have come aboard to join forces with us at www.campaigningforbarbaro.com.

They are one of the first representatives of our 50 states in the USA to lend their talents and skills for improving the lives of thoroughbred and quarter horses thoroughout the United States and Canada. Their link to E.P.O.N.A. (Equine Protection Of North America) and the H.S.U.S. (Humane Society of the United States) is changing the course of Legislative views and people's hearts across America. (www.eponarescue.org ; www.hsus.org ; www.saplonline.org ).

"We, like Michael Matz, know that Barbaro is a 'one-in-a-million horse' that comes along once a century." And, his legacy will save thousands of horse lives and jockeys so, globally, all can once again enjoy horseracing. Seeing these Champions live comfortably after retirement is why we are Americans. It is the
right thing to do!

For over 35 years, Bill's father was Delaware's Horse & Dog Racing Commissioner. Now, a second generation is hoping to give back to society something that will improve quality of life for both horse & jockey. "We hope to get people off the side-lines and positively contribute what they can to make Horseracing Tracks Safer," a goal shared wholeheartedly with Wisconsin Volunteers.

Bill & Carole's valuable insights and aid are increasing public awareness for horse healthcare issues as well as spreading the written and verbal word about Horseracing Track Safety for horses and jockeys. We are excited to have them aboard working with us to awaken people to the genuine need to actively put human and horse safety first.

We'll look forward to more exciting articles and poems to uplift everyone
here and at www.timwoolleyracing.com where Alex Brown continues to be our Barbaro Lifeline Support. If you have any contributing comments please come and visit www.barbaroambassadors.blogspot.com and www.campaigningforbarbaro.com!

WHO ELSE JUST BECAME USA TEAM BARBARO AMBASSADORS? KENTUCKY, OF COURSE!

A/P: Barbaro is about to
cross the finish line winning the
Kentucky Derby 2006. Greater
than super speed and strength,
"It's what's inside his
heart that counts most.
Barbaro has the heart to win."
We salute you as you now are
winning a new kind of race.
It is one that your
big heart will see you through
for what lies ahead. (by CLS)

Ambassadors For Barbaro Biographies and Commentaries
Warmest welcome our newest
group of ambassadors from Kentucky.
Congratulations to you Libby Fraysure,
your sister, daughter Amanda, and partner
Steve Kern. Libby has enjoyed
numerous years in mergers and acquisitions
which she says "is so much fun!"
She and Steve passionately share an
"Undying Love for Barbaro." Her
strongest desire is "to be proactively involved
all aspects of the horseracing..."ie., horse and
jockey retirement, better racing track
conditions, The Barbaro Fund, just to name a few."

Though Turfway Park is nearby, she has not been
there since they put in the Polyturf. However, she says,
"I frequent River Downs and go to
Keeneland twice yearly. AsTurfway owns Keeneland,
they also are laying down synthetic track too." She
loves going to the "huge annual Derby Bash."

Libby has an impressive Board background reading like
Who's Who in America. From Duke Energy Midwest in

Cincinnati Ohio to fund raisers with Ballet Tech
Ohio (Fine Arts Fund). As Fundraising Chairperson, she
was constantly evolving with their mission statement: "
...educate, entertain, and inspire by providing
diverse and innovative performances that will have
a phenomenal community impact."

It was through these incredible shows that she found
what "really making a difference means."
She says, "We are constantly evolving and its like tending
a garden - weeding, planting, droughts, flowers, and fruits."

Her enthusiasm has infected her artistic sister
who is helping her design a Barbaro bracelet/necklace
still in infancy state. Her vision is to use the proceeds
for The Barbaro Fund and Campaigning For Barbaro.
Amazingly like the Shaws, she came across
our website believing it to be answered prayers.

Partnering her fundraising skills is definitely a
big boost to USA Team Barbaro. WE and Barbaro
graciously thank our new Kentucky Barbaro Ambassadors.
We can expect excitingly greater things.

Together, we will better our talents and
learn more on fundraising with Libby and company.

Welcome Aboard Kentuckians!

NEW YORK's USA TEAM BARBARO's BIO & COMMENTARY
WELCOME Dawn Orlando

"Born and raised on Long Island and an owner of 5 race horses in syndication with Cedar Meadow.I am determined... to create a safer environment for horses and jockey's throughout N.Y.
